1. Consultation:
- Once we receive a completed "New Client Information Form" we will schedule a consultation at your home
- Discuss your expectations for the project
- Discuss ways to incorporate "Green Building"
- Discuss design requirements for the project
- Review any construction drawings that may have already been produced for the project
- If plans are not available we will discuss how we can provide a Design-Build solution
- Discuss the project budget
- Discuss the benefits of our "Retainer Agreement"
- Sign our "Retainer Agreement" so that your project can be placed on our schedule and allow us to begin the Planning process
2. Planning & Pricing:
- Complete a "Site Disclosure Form" which helps us determine if there may be any zoning, setback, or other permitting issues that need to be addressed
- With our guidance you will be able to complete selections of all fixtures and finishes
- Conduct a second site visit with key subcontractors that will be involved with the project
- Finalize pricing
- Produce a Construction Contract including Project Specifications
- Produce a Project Schedule
- Sign the Construction Contract and finalize a start date
- Schedule a Preconstruction Meeting
3. Construction:
- Maintain constant communication: Phone, Email and your personalized Project Page on our Website
- Construction Progress Payments due every 15 days based on a Schedule of Values
- Detailed invoicing and budget monitoring
- Quality Control ensured by visual inspections combined with checklists required at various phases of the project.
- Regular site meetings to keep you informed of all aspects of the project.
4. Completion:
- Perform a final walkthrough
- We hand you a blank Punchlist and ask that you return it to us within 7 days.
- We strive to complete everything on the returned punchlist within 7 days
- Submit final invoicing
- Present a Job End Package including a Vendor/Subcontractor List, Fixture & Finish Schedule, Care and Maintenance Guides, and Warranty information
- Our 2 Year Warranty Period Begins
- We perform a 1 Year Follow Up after a complete Heating and Cooling cycle
