Feel Better About Your Home

As a full service remodeling contractor we have found that most of the homes we visit have maintenance and repair items that have been neglected. We also find that many homes are simply not as energy efficient as they should be. Older homes are more likely to be on this list but even for new homes we can find ways to increase performance. With todays busy schedules it is easy to forget about preventative maintenance that, if neglected, could lead to costly repairs down the road. It is also difficult to identify your homes performance problems such as heat loss, inadequate insulation, air leakage, poor indoor air quality, and moisture problems. That is why we have established our

Home Maintenance & Performance Tune-Up

Give us (1) day and we will go thorough our checklist and find ways to make your home perform at its best. We will generate a report of our findings and offer recommendations regarding any maintenance items that need to be addressed. We can also provide energy assessment services that can determine the best “bang for your buck” performance solutions.
  • We evaluate your home.
  • Generate a priority list of any items found and suggest recommended action.
  • Spend the remainder of the day tackling some of the “High Priority” items from the list.
  • Within 48 hours we will provide a complete report including any remaining items and required action along with the results of your energy audit if you choose to do so.
  • Tailor an ongoing maintenance and performance program specific to your home.

Do You Have A High Performance Home ?

Common Problems:
High energy bills, uneven temperatures from room-to-room, drafts, moisture, mold, mildew, poor indoor air quality, ice dams, pest infestations, seemingly uncontrollable humidity levels and even premature deterioration of building materials can all be the result of a breakdown in the relationship between the systems in your house – the building envelope (shell), heating and air conditioning (HVAC) equipment and you, the occupants.

Solutions:
A home energy assessment, also known as a home energy audit, is the first step to assess how much energy your home consumes and to evaluate what measures you can take to make your home more energy efficient. An assessment will show you problems that may, when corrected, save you significant amounts of money over time.
Let us perform an assessment on your home so we can offer solutions to make your home more comfortable and energy efficient.
